About the Elite Program

Elite teams are our national-caliber travel teams. These teams will compete in two national qualifier tournaments (in the lower 48) for a bid to play in the National Championships.

Teams

Elite teams will be formed in the following age groups:

14's
15's
16's
17's
18's

Athletes will play with the same teammates all club season.

Tryouts

Tryouts: November (the week after the State HS VB tournament)

Pre-register for tryouts or pay at the door.

Tryouts are $20. If you make the team, your tryout fee will be applied to your club fees.

$250 (first payment) is due upon accepting a spot on a team.

Season & Practices

Club season is Nov - April. If a team qualifies for nationals, the season will be extended through the National tournament (dates differ by age group).

Practices start the week of Nov 18.

Practices: 1hours 45 min (2x a week)

Skill sessions: one 1-hour mandatory small skills training session and one optional (held before/after normal practice sessions).

To prevent repetitive use injuries and improve performance, we ask the players to have a personal fitness regimen, or play another sport during the club season.

Video training will be used. Elite players will get a Hudl account included in their fees.

Tournaments

3 in-state regional tournaments

Compete in a local Women's League

Either USAV or AAU Junior National Championships

Two of the following National Tournaments:

College Recruiting

Elite teams will be exposed to college recruiters. Players will have the ability to attend coaching combines before the national tournaments where hundreds of coaches are there to evaluate unsigned players. If you are interested in attending a combine, ask your coach about signing up for these.

Athletes will be required to email at least 5 college coaches to let them know they will be attending the tournament.

Campus visits to local colleges will be scheduled when time allows

Fees

We will publish the cost of the Elite program. Your fees will include the cost of your Inspire uniform package, all regional practices and local tournaments, entry fees for national tournaments. Travel, food and lodging at regional and national tournaments are not included in your fees. If your team qualifies for nationals, you will also owe an additional practice fee to cover gym time for the extended season.

The first payment ($250) is due at tryouts when you accept an offer for a team.
