IVC has announced a policy that allows girls to play basketball, soccer, or other sports, that conflict with the club volleyball season. “Research shows us that players who cross train are less likely to experience repetitive use injuries or burnout from specializing in one sport. We have found that several girls desire to play basketball, or other sports, for their schools. We want those kids to enjoy multiple sports.” says Bobbi Mason, Director of Inspire Volleyball Club. “There are mutual benefits for the club and the athlete. We encourage our players to be happy, well-rounded individuals.”

Players who want to play sports that conflict with the club season are asked to work with their coach and team to ensure they can align on a plan when conflicts occur.
